Share your own WiFi on the Wayru app and earn rewards even without hosting a WayruOS compatible Hotspot. This user-friendly process lets the Wayru App share your own WiFi with the community.

You can earnWayru Points for sharing WiFi after adding your router’s local network or any other known WiFi network to the Wayru Network, like the one at your favorite restaurant or grocery store. Other users must verify and use it for rewards to kick in. So make sure you do it right.

Maintaining strong network performance is crucial for earning rewards. Network validators will test and determine if your network is reliable and worth rewarding.

How to Add a Password-Protected WiFi Network to the Wayru Network?

• In the Wayru App, click on the 'Add WiFi' button.
• Choose from “Own Network” or “Public Network” on the Add WiFi page.
• On the next page choose “password-protected”.
• Add and verify the password.
• Select the network type to determine if it is a home or business WiFi network.
• Assign a name to that network.
• Confirm the location.
• Tap Submit and wait for the app to verify the connection, credentials and add it to the map.

How to Add an Open WiFi Network to the Wayru Network?

• In the Wayru App, click on the 'Add WiFi' button.
• Choose from “Own Network” or “Public Network” on the Add WiFi page.
• On the next page choose “Open”.
• Verify if the network has a captive portal or not (and tell us which portal provider if possible).
• Select the network type to determine if it is a home or business WiFi network.
• Assign a name to that network.
• Confirm the location.
• Tap Submit and wait for the app to verify the connection and add it to the map.

That’s it; you have officially submitted a WiFi network to our map. ****The app will check the location, SSID, credentials, and WiFi strength before adding it to the map. Once added, others can validate, use, and rate it, and you will be rewarded accordingly.
