The Problem

There are nearly 4 billion people disconnected.

1 out of every 2 people alive today lacks access to the Internet. The UN has declared Internet access a human right, yet nearly 4 billion people worldwide still don't have access to it.

In Latin America alone, almost 400 million people lack connectivity, and only a few providers dominate most of the telecommunications sector, which is the primary reason why so many remain disconnected.

Our Mission

Wayru aims to deliver low-cost internet access using blockchain and disruptive connectivity technologies, particularly in low-margin, high-volume emerging markets. Its mission is to create a more connected world.
